Britt Smith was nominated by his colleague, Sherri Dotson.

"Our principal goes to almost all the events. I am sure it takes away from his family time, but our students know he will go above and beyond to help them succeed," said Dotson. "He builds their confidence by going to their events and posting their pictures on social media. He gives the students a voice! This voice is instrumental in high school, when students are trying to find their place and purpose in life. My hat goes off to someone so dedicated to making our school and community the best it can be."
