Angela Mackey was nominated by her colleague, Dorothy Hamilton.

Mrs. Mackey has been teaching for 12-15 years. "Zip It, Park It"  is her saying for the children as they enter her room. Mrs. Mackey is a committed teacher because she arrives early and is always the last person to leave school.

"Angela is a highly motivated and dedicated teacher, and a LifeChanger for Heidelberg students," said Hamilton. "She has the ability to be positive about testing, education, and success. Her leadership within her school and district makes her a LifeChanger. During Prom, testing, senior night, and afterschool tutoring you will find that Angela is the centerpiece for Heidelberg High School. Also, she has high moral and ethical standards."

Over the years your teaching experience has proven to be over and beyond the norm. You take steps to secure your student's success. I am sure that your students, school and district know you are a vital asset to them and the community as well. You make learning fun and interesting.

My friend really deserves this. I have seen her go above and beyond for her students. Even after the students pass on to the next level they never forget "Park it or Zip it." Congratulations
