Henrietta Haynes was nominated by her colleague, Azineth Buan.
"I have known Ms. Haynes for almost nine years now. Since I've arrived at Memorial High School, I have witnessed how she has developed many talents and skills among students," said Buan. "She embodies a true teacher and LifeChanger. She always goes above and beyond the call of duty. As the coordinator of the University Interscholastic League (UIL), she spends countless hours training her students and preparing them for competitions. With her leadership, our school won many awards in the field of Fine Arts."
