Harriet Manning was nominated by her colleague, J. Kelly.
"Harriet is the sweetest, most dedicated person I know," said Kelly. "In my years working with her, she tirelessly, and without complaint, stepped in to help with our most difficult students. Any time a teacher needed help, or something was good for the student or the school, Harriet was right there volunteering and giving it her best."
Ms. Manning has a special way of bringing out the best in the students she worked with. No matter how difficult, they knew she was someone they could trust. She easily conveyed her love for them. She helped students become successful and lovingly held them accountable for their actions and achievements.
"Central will sorely miss Harriet," said Kelly.
