Jane Finkel was nominated by her colleague, Patrice Foster.
"Jane is the most awesome teacher I have ever met...I have known Jane for two years now, and It feels like I have known her for all of my life," said Foster. "When I first started working at Garfield, she was the first person who made me feel like part of the Garfield family and the reason I wanted to keep working there. Jane will make anyone one feel loved. I hate that she is retiring but truly understand her reasons. The kids will be missing out on a wonderful teacher."
