Sharon is awesome and this is the perfect award for her! She is definitely a life changer -- not only to the students and families she works with throughout every school year, but for the staff, too. Sharon has taught me so much and is so patient. She is fun to work with and it is really hard to think about not having her to work with next year. Student's safety, ensuring staff follow the health plans and helping throughout the school are all characteristics of Sharon that I will always remember! I met Sharon within my 1st week or two in South Lyon. Once she told me her job title, I had tons of questions about what I should do for my daughter with a severe allergy (should I do I 504, etc). She was happy to give me all the info and so much more! It was so nice to have a friendly, helpful face when starting a new adventure! Thank you Sharon!
I have loved working with Sharon Springer. Sharon and I have worked in the same building for a very long time!! Sharon has helped me in and out of the classroom. She is an amazing resource to go to when I need another strategy to help my students!! Sharon let my oldest daughter shadow her when she needed hours for her teacher certificate. She showed her the ins and outs of working as a Resource Room Teacher! Sharon is a great resource and is passionate about the kids she works with!!
