Kennon Moore was nominated by Kathryn Guthrie, the parent of a student.

"Coach Moore has made such a change in my child's life," said Guthrie. "He motivates the students to do their best and try new things. He pushes them further than they even imagined. Coach Moore is supportive and understanding, yet challenging and stern. He keeps his class exciting and fun. He was my daughter's football and soccer coach, as well as her history teacher. Coach Moore, along with the other coaches, built her self-esteem up more than I could imagine. He pushed in a caring way to help show her she could accomplish anything she wanted to. I feel blessed to have met such an amazing man."
