Ms. Henthorne is able to connect with some of the most difficult students and help them grow and express themselves through art. Students respect her, admire her talent, and choose to be more like her. Ms. Henthorne values education and has advised and led the high school academic decathlon team to state appearances. She sees talent in students who others might overlook. Ms. Henthorne looks for ways to enhance the cultural experiences of her students through art. She team teaches with English teachers to demonstrate the importance of being able to communicate in a meaningful manner. Ms. Henthorne loves art and her students.
