He has made a big difference in the lives of his students through his inspirational, motivational attitude. He genuinely cares about his students and is always looking out for their best interests.
Mr. Burns has taught his students to never give up and has made a huge difference in Moody's life.
"He has touched my heart so deeply that all I can say is that he is a wonderful teacher who is full of inspiration," Moody said. "He wants us to discover the values of learning, failing and then succeeding."
Mr. Burns is a leader in the classroom, on campus and on the football field. He is an educator who teaches with determination and wisdom. He empowers his students to take action if they want to change the world.
Mr. Burns teaches with real-life examples so students will understand and be prepared for life after high school. He takes the time to help students in all aspects of life and is committed to helping every student succeed and follow their dreams. Moody remembers a quote from Mr. Burns saying: "There are two types of people in the world, Losers and Winners. Who will you choose to be?."
"He has helped me to make my dream a reality, and he still does," Moody said.
