From organizing career fairs and scholarship fundraisers with high profile celebrities to promoting the importance of staying fit with fashion, Ms. Torres is constantly reaching out in her community.

Her nominator, a talent and promotions specialist for Univision X963, WADO1280 and Univision TV in NYC, has supported and nurtured Ms. Torres' dedication to her community by booking on-air talents and donating promotional items in coordination with her events. 

"My Univision talents would dedicate their time to speaking with students regarding the importance of education, positivity, loyalty, and support," the nominator said. "Also, I prepared give away bags and concert raffle giveaways catering to each school fundraiser occasion."

Ms. Torres' faith and loyalty to the community is highly commended. She is also a strong advocate of the neighborhood watch program in her community.
