LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Jason Morris was nominated by his colleague, Lanette Mora.

"Mr. Morris is, by far, one of the best 'new' teachers we have here at John Glenn Elementary," said Mora. "His famous quote is: 'To the world, you are one person, but to one person, you are the world.'"

Mr. Morris came to John Glenn Elementary as a student teacher. Right away, he made a great impact on his students and colleagues. His smile radiates through the school like a ray of sunshine.  When you ask, most people would describe him as being passionate and dedicated to educating all students, not only his students. He has a very caring attitude, and he's always willing to learn more to continue improving himself. He brings positivity into his school's atmosphere, and he always has the utmost respect for everyone. Mr. Morris teaches his students to always be respectful of everyone. 

He is involved in many activities in his school, including The Young Gentlemen's Club, an after-school club that helps male students understand what it means to be a gentleman and to have respect. He has a heart of pure gold, and all students know they can come to him with any problem. Mr. Morris has high moral and ethical standards and leads by example when it comes to following school rules.  

In his personal time, Mr. Morris is very active as a soccer coach for young students. He teaches them the importance of being a part of a team and being a team player.  He has a caring demeanor throughout everything he accomplishes.
