Even though i have not had Mr.Ball for very long he has already made to the top of my list for favorite teacher, he's funny, he's nice, and he cares about how we'are doing and he's there to help weather if abouts about school work or about your personal life.Overall he just a fun nice and caring teacher

Mr.Ball by far is the best teacher ever. He understands his students and makes learning fun. Not only that, but he remembers every single one of his students. I am so lucky to have a chance to have this amazing teacher. My older sister had him 7 years ago and still to this day Mr. Ball is her favorite ex teacher. Its safe to say most of Mr. Ball's students love him so much and we only had him for a couple weeks. I think his students love him so much because we know that he really cares about us and loves us like we are his own family. I would not trade him for any other teacher in the world. I never thought civics would be my favorite class including electives but here we are. So congratulations Mr. Ball (aka: the best person/teacher ever).

Mr.Ball Is personally to me one of the best civics teachers that I have had, he makes sure that we have all of our work up to date and even when switching civics teachers he really made us all feel that we have been his students along, he is caring and generous and his way of teaching is not only educational but it's fun, and that is what i really want in a teacher because everyone is engaged and is learning while he makes it fun.He is also very funny most of the things he saids just makes everyone laugh he is a bowl of joy and i hope everyone in the years coming has him as a teacher because they would have so much fun in his class!

He is very funny and understandable, yet he makes learning very fun and he prepares us for any civics test or assignment that we do! He makes sure all of us do the best that we can and he cares about his students a lot! My teacher left a few weeks ago, and initially I was nervous for the transition. The first day in his class went amazing! John Ball is probably my favourite teacher and he has a lot of things to bring to the table. So what I am saying is he is absolutely amazing.
I have only had Mr.Ball as a teacher for a few weeks, but he has still made an impact on. Every student he comes across, he makes sure that he makes some kind of difference in their lives. He remembers everybody's name, cares about his students more than I can even explain, and makes even the toughest class days fun and exciting.

Mr.Ball is an amazing teacher, he mixes humor with learning and this makes me motivated to learn and reach my potential. Not only is he a fun loving guy he also rewards students and he does so in a moderate ways. He is the perfect blend of funny and strict. Mr.Ball replaced my old civics teacher half way through the year, and I was absolutely terrified because I've never had a guy teacher and history/civics definitely isn't my strong subject. Immediately from the first day of him being my teacher all my nerves were gone, his way of teaching is amazing and keeps me entertained. Mr. Ball goes above and beyond to reach out to the kids encouraging & motivating them. Middle school can be tough and Mr. Ball ensures the students know he is there for them. I would like to let you know that Mr. Ball isn't just a teacher or instructor. He is an excellent mentor for my son, which makes me think he must be for others as well. My son isn't the best student by any means but for some reason he looks forward to Mr Balls class and does well. History isn't even close to his favorite subject. When I quiz him he knows the answers. That to me, says that Mr. Ball teaches in a way that makes the subject matter interesting. Not only is he committed to his students but also his friends. He was invited to his friend's military promotion ceremony. I can tell you as a retired Air Force Vet that you don't get invited to a 3 Star General's promotion ceramony without being a good friend with the upmost strict morals. I the Mr. Ball is a great person that is in touch with the changes in our kids learning styles.

Mr. Ball has been a very entertaining yet serious teacher. Teaching is his passion, which clearly shows through all his lessons, fun comments/games in the google classroom, and time in the class. He pushes everyone to do their best, whether it be reminding the student to do their work or even giving them a boost with grades. Through this whole covid situation, he has made it a point to never give up, or more importantly enjoy school while you can! I am very thankful to this teacher for everything he has done for all of his students.

Mr. Ball is a truly dedicated & inspiring educator who seems to empower all types of students to want to learn from him. My son, Ryan, has benefitted greatly from his teaching style and has maintained his attention and eagerness to learn over the past few years. Mr. Ball is not only an amazing teacher who engages the kids, encourages them to think and constantly lifts them up, but he is also a huge asset to school overall. He uses his personal time to fundraise for our Foundation which provides so many specialized tools to teachers and students that standardized annual budgets may overlook! We are lucky to have him in our system!
Mr. John Ball is not only the most amazing educator, and mentor my daughter has had the pleasure of having twice in her middle school years, but he is a powerhouse of positivity and motivation. He truly goes cares for his student's and always goes above and beyond to acknowledge their accomplishments. He has mastered building a trusting rapport with his students. One in a million that's John Ball. He truly loves what he does and it shows in every aspect of not only his work, but his student's life.
My son, Adam Downey had the pleasure of having Mr. Ball in 6th grade for science, and again this year as an 8th grader for history. Before 6th grade Adam really didn't like science, after having Mr. Ball, he LOVED science. Mr. Ball made it interesting and Adam not only enjoyed science, but did well in it. My son was excited to have Mr. Ball again this year, he is really one of the only teachers and classes my son talks about. Thank you Mr. Ball!

Mr. Ball takes time to ensure the parents of his students stay informed on their progress. His feedback is always timely and is reflective of the feedback received from my Son. John is a passionate teacher. He is motivating his students and makes learning fun for them. My son went to school in Europe and in the US and Mr. Ball is his favorite teacher. I am extremely happy that my son has the privilege to have a teacher like Mr. Ball.

I never met him in person as unfortunately this year started virtually but I must say that from the minute my daughter played his orientation video I knew he would be a very interesting and entertaining teacher and was I right! Not only for the students but for the parents as well. He has always checked in and has kept us informed of how my daughter is doing in his class whether good or bad, he has also been very inspiring which is a great quality to have especially during these trying times! He definitely deserves this and so many more awards! I am so glad my daughter had the opportunity to have him as her teacher so that she can see what an all around caring teacher looks like!!! My daughter, Ava, has Mr. Ball for History this year. In all of her education years, this is the one teacher that she consistently comes home talking about- always with a smile on her face and always something positive. Mr. Ball goes above and beyond to inspire and motivate his students. He also shares positive messages with the parents- rare in today’s world but soooo appreciated.
