Kristen Williams was nominated by her colleague, Dr. Tameka Hyland.

Ms. Williams is an awesome leader who has gone over and beyond for the students at Vicksburg High School. She worked to make sure that students were able to continue learning virtually by checking their progress on a daily basis and reaching out to parents. She is great at building relationships with students, and she always brings real-world experiences to the forefront when speaking with them about important life choices. Ms. Williams is very active within her sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho, and she loves taking care of the elderly. She is a big proponent of community service and believes the world is better when we all do our part. She loves to lead professional development, and she is a life-long learner. Ms. Williams has the ability to put a smile on anyone's face and loves to celebrate birthdays. She is an awesome human being and an extraordinary leader.
