Charlie Mason was nominated by an anonymous member of his community.
As a principal, Mr. Mason goes above and beyond, not only in his ability to form bonds and productive relationships with students, but in his actions to provide fair educational, recreational, and skill-building opportunities for students. His most defining characteristic is the passion with which he works to ensure distressed students are able to receive an exceptional education. These students may suffer from a lack of self-esteem and act in a way that can be disruptive in classroom settings. To assist these students, Mr. Mason is committed to providing them with leadership opportunities that will contribute to their personal development and definitive success.
Mr. Mason embodies what it means to be a principal through his willingness to provide students with opportunities. During his years as a principal and teacher, he made sure students were safe, loved, and welcomed at the school. Any student who came across Mr. Mason was fortunate to have known him.
