Music that Describes Jeffrey
Jeffrey Williams was nominated by his colleague, Beverly Barker.
Mr. Williams is very dedicated, and the type of principal who knows no strangers. He makes all students, parents, and staff feel welcome. In leadership meetings, he always wants what is best for the children and will proceed in that direction. The parents of the students who attend Clermont Elementary School would agree that he does a wonderful job. At times, they will send awesome personal thank you letters about how much he treats students as individuals, and not just labels. He works extremely hard to keep everyone informed about students' accomplishments. They're always a big deal to him, no matter how small or big.
Clermont Elementary School is located in an urban area of Clermont, FL. Students' parents generally look for School of Choice or Mckay Scholarships to send their students to CES. The school is an older school, but under Mr. Williams' leadership, the physical looks are deceiving. The people inside make up for any cosmetic issues the school building has.
In April, when COVID-19 hit and students were not able to return to class, Mr. Williams stood in the drive thru pick-up line handing out food supplement packages to students' parents. He deserves to be recognized for his hard work and dedication to Clermont Elementary School!
Mr. Williams is a true example of a life changer. In the few years that I have known him, I have personally seen the impacts he has made on his students, staff, and community. Mr. Williams has supported my endeavors as a new teacher, and I truly feel his support has laid a strong foundation for me to have a successful career. In this aspect, he has created a ripple effect that will trickle down to every student I have the pleasure of working with. Mr. Williams works hard to provide opportunities for the students in our school to find success. Not only does he set the bar high for our students....he actively participates in their education to help them reach their goals. Mr. Williams carries himself in a manner that inspires the students to be their best selves. Mr. Williams is always looking for ways to involve our school in the community. He supports after school activities and experiences that allow parents to be a part of their children's education.
Thank you Mr. Williams!!! You rock!
I am new to Clermont Elementary but one of the first things I noticed is that Mr. Williams takes time to interact with the students. Despite all of his administrative duties, he makes time to talk to the them on their level in the lunchroom or on the playground. He knows their needs and their situations and takes an active role in their educational planning. I am certain these students will look back at their elementary years and remember Mr. Williams fondly. He is an awesome role model!
I have had the privilege and honor to be a teacher at Clermont Elementary and have Mr. Williams as my principal! He is so kind and caring. He's always thinking of others, especially his students and staff! He's positive and always looking on the brighter side of things! Thanks to him, we have a safe place to come and make learning engaging! Thank you Mr. Williams for all you do, I appreciate you!

Congratulations Mr. Williams !! Well deserved !
Mr. Williams is an exceptional Principal and role model to all of us. Although this is only my second year teaching at Clermont Elementary, I have learned so much from him. He comes into our classrooms on a regular basis to observe and to give us valuable feedback. He knows every students' name and has a personal connection with each one of them. My students get excited when he comes into our classroom and when he participates in our learning. I'm blessed to work with such a remarkable educator and administrator and for such an amazing school filled with a community of selfless, caring and loving staff. Thank you, Mr. Williams for all that you do.
I am a teacher at Clermont Elementary and I really enjoy working with Mr. Williams. If I ever have a question or concern, he is always helpful and will offer suggestions or guidance. He truly cares about his staff, as well as the students and will go out of his way to be supportive when needed.
I have never met a principal that works directly with the students. Mr. Williams has stayed after school to work with students that need extra support or just need help catching up on their class work. He doesn’t just supervise during those times, he sits down and helps them to have a better understanding of the skill that they are working on in class.
Mr. Williams has a love of learning and he is instilling that love of learning in all of the students that he comes in contact with daily. I hope to work with Mr. Williams for many years to come.
I am honored to work at Clermont Elementary School as the music teacher. I appreciate the way Mr. Williams has such a heart for these students and their families. He is actively involved with the students here and the students know he is on their side. His compassion shines through to students and their families as well as the staff at CES.
Mr. Williams is the kind of a Principal that he will not ever ask you to do something that he will not do himself. He always comes in the cafeteria willing to jump in help the staff and services the students. Mr. Williams will be the first to step up and take care of the students needs. If anyone deserve this award he does.
Mr. Williams is an inspiring and innovative leader. He embraces differences and welcomes diversity. Mr. Williams truly believes in the students and often takes time in the morning and afternoon to talk to them one on one. He always has a smile and a positive word when you see him around. I have only known Mr. Williams for a short period of time, but I could not image a better person for this award.
He is a great person. Does alot for this school. He helps in the cafeteria at lunch time. This school has changed alot since he's been here.he is a really. Good principal..
He’s a wonderful role model to students. He makes a huge difference with the parents who trust him with their children. He is very creative with the challenges of the school, and is a visionary,
This is my principal. He’s a wonderful role model to students. He makes a huge difference with the parents who trust him with their children.
Mr. Williams is a kind man and an awesome principal. His door is always open. He focuses on the children and their happiness and success. He focuses on the positive! He has a fun sense of humor. It shows with his staff and the students. He goes the extra mile for all the kids at CES!
Principle Williams has helped my family enormously during the past 5 years. My son Shane started at CES just after his 3rd birthday.. He has special needs. It was a hard time for my wife and I to have him at school at his age, Principle Williams and the whole school staff were nothing but positive and reassuring. He always makes time for communicating with us either by phone, e-mail, or in person. Anyone whom has ever raised a child with special needs knows how imperative it is to have direct communication quickly. 3 years ago we moved and changed school zones. With LCS school choice we filed to stay at CES and we were rejected based on current capacity, however when we let Principle Williams know the situation (new school was zoned for Astatula Elementary, a 30-45 minute bus ride away), he graciously said he will check on keeping Shane at CES. Now our other son Luke is attending as well in his second year on campus. Principle Williams is always available, always pleasant, courteous, professional. We couldn't have asked for a better Principle, Administrator. He truly cares for all the children and staff. He is also a genuinely good man and very sincere.
Mr. Williams is exactly the change Clermont Elementary School needed! He has transformed one of the oldest schools in our district in to a place of high expectations for everyone. Staff, parents, and students no longer see the old buildings as a downfall, or a reason to go elsewhere, but as a place where everyone is challenged and taught a love of learning. Mr. Williams is a great leader who is willing to put in the extra time and effort to ensure that everyone is successful!
Mr. Williams is the third principal I have worked under here at Clermont Elementary School. He goes above and beyond for the students because he cares. He has even stayed in the media center with students until 5:00 helping them catch up with any missed assignments. Not many administrators put in that much extra to help their students be successful. He truly is a life changer for the students that attend Clermont Elementary School!
I've know Mr. Williams for over 11 years. I started teaching EBD my first year with him as my principal. He was so supportive & amazing with my students! After we both moved around I finally came to CES to work for him again. He exudes positivity around everyone he speaks to....students & staff! If you ask for help, he is always there. He consistently makes us aware of things going on ahead of time which allows us to sufficiently prepare for the task at hand. He does any task asked of him including lunch room duty daily and even playing jump rope at recess with students. He is a role model for all and a great listener! He uses his experience as guidance for all staff and never exhibits negativity. I've come to know him personally, even teaching his son. As a parent, he showed the same positive qualities & support as a principal. His presence in the community is a blessing to all who come in contact with him! I admire his capabilities as a leader, which cause me to drive almost an hour to work under him. I am blessed to be a part of the great school he commands. He highly deserves any and all awards for his efforts.
Congratulations Mr. Williams!
The changes that have occurred at CES since you have been here are to be commended. The students and parents have greatly benefited from your leadership and vision. You are an inspiration to all.
A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent. -Douglas McArthur This quote describes the principal of Clermont Elementary.
I am not only a employee who works for Clermont Elementary School but, I am also a parent here as well. I worked here before Mr. Williams started as principal here at CES and the amount of positive changes that I have witnessed has been amazing to say the least! We went from a school where the kids had no playground nor play equipment to a school that has all new Playgrounds for both upper and lower grades. This is just one of many of examples of this mans drive to see our children get the things that they deserve. To watch him get out there and work with our children is a treat. He is hands on and makes me as an employee here feel valued and appreciated . My son absolutely adores him. He calls him his favorite principal!
