Aimee Hospodarsky was nominated by the Iowa School Counselor Association.

Ms. Hospodarsky was named the Iowa School Counselor of the Year. She's able to capitalize on her various educational and counseling experiences, not only to improve her own school counseling practice, but to support improvements in her colleagues' school counseling practices. She possesses a growth mindset and continually seeks out professional learning opportunities that directly correlate to the social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs of the students she serves. This continued desire to grow and evolve her professional practice has provided her with opportunities for leadership within the field.
