Luzmarrie Perez was nominated by her principal, Caterria Payton.
Ms. Perez, also known as "Lucy," is the registrar at Jackson Elementary School. She is a loving wife and mother of two who is very active in her school, church, and community. Referred to as the "Spanish principal" by many students, Ms. Perez serves as a translator and advocate for many Spanish speaking families in her school and community. She is passionate about her role in ensuring that all students are properly enrolled in school and attend school on a daily basis.
"Lucy ensures that students have proper transportation and uniforms, and works to remove any obstacles which may adversely affect students' school attendance," Payton said. "She is definitely a LifeChanger!"
