LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Caroline Jeannette was nominated by two students' relatives. The following profile contains text from each nomination.

Entering a new school year is hard on everyone, especially when you've gone virtual. It's nothing like any of us are used to. Ms. Jeannette has made virtual learning a positive, engaging experience.  She cares so much about her students and keeping them on track with learning.

"My nephew is in her class, and he loves Ms. Jeannette and going to school, both on Zoom and on campus when the hybrid program is open," said one of the nominators, who would like to remain anonymous. "He struggled at first with paying attention during remote learning, but Ms. Jeannette brought it to our attention and we worked together to get him focused. In a year that has been as challenging as 2020 has been, I appreciate Ms. Jeannette, her kindness, her dedication to teaching and her professionalism more than I can say."

"Ms. Jeannette is my son's third grade teacher, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to start the year," said Brittany Winder. "From dropping off school supplies to checking in throughout the week, her dedication is unmatched! She has been incredibly patient and understanding. It cannot be easy teaching children virtually, but her tactics and caring attitude have been very helpful. Ian loves Ms. Jeanette, and I am very thankful for her."
