Mrs. Artz is a very creative teacher who comes from a teaching family. Her mother and sister have served in the teaching field for many years. This inspired her to go into the teaching field. Her degree is in the area of deaf and hard of hearing, but she has obtained experience in working with a variety of children. She has worked with children from kindergarten to twelfth grade. Her passion lies in the middle school grades. Teachers who teach at this level need to be part magicians, part teachers, and part counselors, almost ready for everything. Mrs. Artz is that person. She is compassionate, but stern and funny when needed. The students love her, and many come back to see her or get help when needed. She definitely has changed the lives of many of her students and staff members who work with her. She definitely puts forth more than 100% to get the best out of her students.

As I’ve watched you grow from a young sweet, creative, inquiring, little girl to a social butterfly, to a compassionate, loving, giving, hard driving, focused, mama, student, wife, teacher, friend, all around worker who rarely sleeps and would do anything for anyone. You take people in when they need a place to stay, feed them when they need food, clothe them when they need clothes. All the essentials before trying to educate them. Then comes the act of pulling out all the nonstops of magical tricks to keep attention, to inspire, to encourage, to let them know they are worthy (which is vital at this time of their life in middle school era). You have the biggest heart and love for all those you have touched throughout your career. Many times we do not know who we have touched until years later. You are a super teacher. Congratulations on being nominated as a Life Changer Of The Year Nominee for this year!!!!!!
Mrs.Artz happy teacher appreciation week!! You have made such a huge impact in my life. When I had you as my teacher in middle school you were always so supportive and always ready to help! You never gave up on helping your students no matter what and that’s what makes you such a great teacher. When I found out I was moving you made me see the brighter side to everything and I thank you for that. Even though I am not your student anymore you still continue to help me with school and more!! Mrs.Artz has impacted my life in a very big way! She has always helped me when I struggled in school. She would stay after school and make sure I got the help I needed. She would help me prep for my test and quizzes and help me find ways to remember things. She is an amazing teacher and is a very great person! She is the best person for this award!

Ms. Artz is kind and Smart and helps us out if we need help and she is the coolest teacher I had in 2020-2021 she is so helpful to us in the school and if we need help she always say come in this afternoon and she would do anything to help use and She always help me with my school work or homework or missing work and SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER EVER and She needs to get a award for helping others in every year she gets new people in her class.I hope u get the award Ms. Artz :)??

I love Mrs. Artz, she is such a great teacher. She helps me and is understanding. When I don't understand something she takes her time and explains it to me. She doesn't make me feel like I'm bothering her, she just explains it until I get it . Thank you Mrs. Artz for everything!

Melissa is a devoted, creative, and a gifted teacher. I have worked with Melissa in our church children’s department in different areas. A gifted teacher is invaluable. Melissa fills in when needed and isn’t afraid of a challenge. The kids love her because she is engaging, caring, and passionate. Melissa is very deserving of the Life Changer award for her positive impact on kids in our community.

I want you to enjoy this award because you deserve all of it! You completely changed my life around you showed me the light when I would get frustrated in my school work. You stayed after school and helped me on the weekends almost all year just to tell me I would eventually understand what I was learning! Without you I don’t know how academically and physically capable with school! You still help me even though we are no longer at the same school I couldn’t do it without you! Thank you! Mrs.Artz is a great teacher and she is always ready to give a helping hand. She helps before and after school. And if you have a question she will get the best answer for you. She makes sure her kids education is great and make sure they are doing well personally. I thing Mrs.Artz is the best person for this award.
