Jessica Horne was nominated by Rachel Beth, a parent.

"Jessica serves as both principal of the school and my daughter's teacher," said Beth. "She is awesome! She runs to school and takes care of the parents. Living Word Christian school is a school of 40+ kids, and the classroom that she takes care of consists of students in grades 5-9. That’s a lot of grades to get together."

"When we moved here in June, Jessi brought us in right away and made us feel at home," said Beth. "She's awesome with my kids and has gone above and beyond to take care of us and make sure that we are adjusting well. My children have gone through mental, emotional, and psychological trauma, but Jessi is working with us as a family to help them get through it and adjust to a new life. She also decorated the sanctuary for my wedding. Even though she is younger than me, I look up to her. She's always put together, even though she has a lot on her plate, from running a school, to teaching, to helping the families and working on her home life."
