LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Renee Hilderbrand was nominated by her colleague, Chris Traina.

Mr. Traina often calls Ms. Hilderbrand a magician; if he asks for something, she'll make it appear.

"Even if it's a material that I assume we wouldn't have, she makes it happen," Traina said. "On top of that, she is always smiling. She is professional, yet light hearted.  This is highly important due to the fact we teach at a Continuation High School."

Many of the students at Black Diamond High School face challenging life obstacles which can make for unpredictable work days. There are extra levels of support needed that go beyond those of traditional schools, and Ms. Hilderbrand provides this support for both students and teachers. She is an excellent communicator, sending multiple emails per day to keep teachers informed of anything they might need to know.

"I've worked at three different schools, and she is by far the most active office manager as far as communication. For this, I am highly grateful," Traina said.
