Zac Wanner was nominated by his colleague, Shannon Quist.

Mr. Wanner is a special kind of teacher. He is the kind who really knows his students. He develops relationships with students that last from Kindergarten all the way through 8th grade. In his art class, students feel free to take risks, explore, and be who they were made to be. Every day, Mr. Wanner makes sure to reach out to students who are struggling and work with those students to create their best work. He collaborates with every teacher in the school to make sure the students are well-cared for.
