Kelsey Strautz was nominated by Cathy Holland, a parent of a student.
"Mrs. Strautz is working so hard this year while COVID-19 is going on," Holland said. "She had to learn how to do all of her teachings all over again just so she could teach our kids. She is a very good person, and my son loves her so much. He had her for two years, and I could never ask for a better teacher for my son. This year has been so hard on everyone, but she makes it easy. If I or any other parents are having problems, she is there to help us out the best way she can. I don't know what we would do without her."
