Alex Pasch was nominated by her colleague, Jerichco Swartz.

As a psychologist in the special education department, Ms. Pasch deals with many variables that naturally come with her job. She's a LifeChanger because of her drive, courage, and willingness to do absolutely anything to help her students. She does whatever it takes to create a positive, honest experience for students, both at school and at home. Ms. Pasch will contact colleagues and parents 100 times a day if needed to make sure everyone is on the same page so that the process and experience is the best that it can be.

"Alex is not just changing one life but multiple lives every year," said Swartz. "I've seen students who tried to run out of the school or couldn't even walk in the hall without it being a trigger. After spending a few months working with Alex working to write a plan, these same students are able to walk from one side of the school to the other and back without any help. I am extremely proud and thankful to be working with Alex."

Linda Downing Posted over a year ago

Hi Alex, I am Linda Downing and I currently work at Independent Living Center in Ionia through the ISD as a health care aide. I do not know you but I saw the article about you and wanted to congratulate you on being a nominee for the LifeChanger of the Year!! It is always so nice to hear positive things like this!! Ionia County ISD employees are very hard working and dedicated(in my opinion lol), so its great you were recognized! I have always looked up to school psychologists as you deal with so much and have probably seen so many different situations with students and/or families!! Thank you for being so dedicated in helping all the children and their families who are in need of someone special as yourself!! Congratulations and keep up the amazing job you are doing!
