Tomi Quigley was nominated by an anonymous parent of a student.

"Ms. Quigley deserves the highest recognition for her determination, hard work, and dedication to her students," said her nominator. "My student was new to Connor Academy this year, and coming from a public school to a charter school can seem a little daunting. Meeting and making new friends and working with a new teacher/school routine put my student in a nervous state. Ms. Quigley didn't miss a beat, however, and she made sure my student felt accepted and like a valued member of the class. She is always there to teach, listen, and love the kids as her own. She is adaptable, fun, and most of all, compassionate! Ms. Quigley shows so much compassion for first graders who have big emotions and are at the beginning of their learning journey. She has also taught my student to trust in their abilities and be brave! She is a rockstar teacher, and I think we have hit the first grade jackpot with Ms. Quigley as my student's teacher!"
