Angelene Gallardo was nominated by her principal, Carol-Ann Clenton-Martin.

Angelene Gallardo, or "My Angel", as Clenton-Martin refers to her, has been a tireless contributor to the development of her school's atmosphere through group and individual initiatives. With these activities, she has nurtured and encouraged fellow teachers, as the demands of their positions are ever more challenging and demanding. She keeps the staff on track as they tend to their students and their families. Ms. Gallardo does not ask for recognition as she carries out the very detailed secretarial and bookkeeping duties her job requires.

Her work ethic is exemplary and shows in all aspects of her day, from keeping the staff organized to making sure each classroom is covered if a substitute does not arrive. She takes on projects with a smile and a commitment to excellence. Ms. Gallardo lives her life in a way that everyone knows her expectations. She believes that everyone in her organization is important and should feel their value.

"She has worked in the school system for over 20 years and continues to ask more of herself than of others around her," Clenton-Martin said. "Angel is a LifeChanger!"

We have a hard working Secretary knows her stuff give her time to help every one at the School, beautiful personality, she always have a solution creative, and effective in performing her duties. I believe she is extremely deserving of this honor.
