LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Gina Middaugh's nominator wishes to remain anonymous.

As assistant principal, Ms. Middaugh is dedicated to the students and staff of Alice B Landrum Middle School. She is a team player with the teachers and staff. Additionally, she ensures everything is in order for the day to run smoothly, from creating student schedules and monitoring the lunch room, to getting students on their buses or in their cars in the carpool line.

Ms. Middaugh is in charge of state and district testing for over 1,300 students. She makes sure all students are scheduled for their appropriate tests with whatever accommodations they need.

Ms. Middaugh is also part of her District's Character Counts committee. She works hard to make sure the six pillars are observed throughout the year by students and staff. She is a big part of the district's annual 5K race, working on the committee and encouraging all participants to do their best. Ms. Middaugh is also a mentor to new assistant principals in the District.

"Ms. Middaugh is a highly qualified administrator who exemplifies high moral and ethical standards in her work life, as well as her personal life," the nominator said. "She is a wife, mother, foster mother, daughter, sister, and an incredible friend."
