Roseann Bennett was nominated by her principal, Lee Montgomery.

Mrs. Bennett embodies a warm spirit that resonates with both staff and students. She has a “can do” attitude and is always working to create a lively and engaging front office. She not only does mundane tasks such as filing, emailing, returning phone calls, and scheduling appointments, but she also takes time to offer input and advice to anyone who needs it.

Mrs. Bennett truly believes in being a focal point of collaboration, often stressing the importance of family, both at home and at school. She is a grandmother who radiates the same love towards students that she does for her own grandchildren. She often soothes wounds, dries tears, checks on homework, pays for lunches, and gets students to class on time. Mrs. Bennett also takes that same amount of care to make sure that teachers are on time, focused on tasks at hand, have materials they need, and have an honest ear should they need one.

"Roseann truly is our 'Mom.' Personally, I think students would be lost without her guidance, support, “gentle” reminders to get work completed, and her unwavering support when things get challenging!" Montgomery said.

Mrs. Bennett does a lot for the school and often says she is there to serve everyone.

At Whispering Oak, our school would not function without her courteous manner, responsive attitude, and grateful service," Montgomery said. "She is a caring individual who embodies the spirit of a high-performing, dedicated team member.
