Mrs. Smith blows kisses at the most challenged students, gets ice packs, and helps with phone numbers for all students. Angie ALWAYS has the brightest smile anytime we visit the school. We have seen her a couple of times outside of school and my daughter lights up every time.

Angie is my sister-in law. She is great to the family also. She is always quick to help. At family diners we have 30-60 people and she is the first person in the kitchen helping from cooking to doing the dishes. She has been with my brother over 30 years. She is a rock in the family so I’m not surprised she is a rock at work and in her community. She is the best!
Angie greets everyone who comes into the Intermediate with a smile, a big hug and such cheerfulness. She loves and interacts with the kids as well as the parents and grandparents visiting the school. You can tell by watching her that she loves those students and there is no doubt in my mind that if she knows of a prayer need in their family they are being covered in prayer by this sweet lady. She is also involved in community activities. Angie is VERY deserving of the LifeChanger award.

Angie was the first person at the schools that we met when we moved here 6 years ago. Her face held then and still does today a smile for every new face she meets. I've been able to work along side her as I volunteered with the school's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). She is efficient and friendly in a taxing job. I've watched her delay paperwork to comfort a student, be a listening ear to a co-worker or help a visitor find what they are looking for. Many afternoons, well after school has dismissed and all the children have left, Angie's little blue jeep still sits in the school parking lot until the work is done.
Angie has a servants heart. You won't find her up in front of large groups of people, rather you'll find her quietly serving. Mentoring young women through Apples of Gold in church, or serving dinner to our community youth during Wednesday night church services.
Angie is worthy of this award. She's already a winner to many of us in this small town.
Angie is a life saver!! She is awesome, she is my go to person for every question I have regarding SISD. I am new to Shallowater and I really don't know what I would do without Angie. She even answers my emails after hours and on the weekends. That says a lot about what kind of person she is. She greets us with a smile and remembers that I am Trevin's mom!! I'm blessed that I have met her.

A few years back Angie Smith was presented with another job opportunity that paid quite a bit more money. Her response was that she loved her students and her Shallowater Intermediate School family and that even though it paid more that there could be no better job for her. I’m on my third and final child in the Shallowater Intermediate building. Angie has been the face I walk in and see every time I walk in the building. Angie loves Shallowater and never stops being a cheerleader for the kids that have gone through her building over the years. It’s very common to see her at extracurricular activities of Shallowater ISD students.
Also, there are few people that put in as many hours at Angie. She never rushes out of the building, and many times I’ve seen her lonely car in the parking lot in the evenings and sometimes on the weekends.Thank you, Angie, for all that you do.
