Ms. Pace has proven herself as a model teacher throughout her career. Students coming to middle school are hopeful to have her as a teacher. She has the ability to help students love math. She works with students outside the school day to help develop them into successful young adults.
Ms. Pace builds lasting relationships with students that last through their adulthood. Life is never easy, but she comes to school and maintains a positive attitude about learning with her students even through adversity. Ms. Pace is a natural leader within her school. She was chosen to become part of a teacher leadership program through Middle Georgia RESA for the 2020-2021 school year.

Ms. Pace helped my daughter to face her fears about math. By making math fun and relating it to real world experiences, Ms. Pace showed my daughter how to embrace math problems by making them her own. By mid-year my daughter was showing me various ways to evaluate box and whisker plots ??. Not only did Ms. Pace accelerate my child’s knowledge in math, she maintained consistent communication with me. As a parent juggling life, I needed that constant communication. Thank God for teachers like Ms. Pace; she is a life saver.

Mrs. Pace has taught all three of my georgia babies math. They each had their own stories about how nice and smart she is. Thanks for making math easy for my 6th graders not 10th, 8th, and 7th graders!
Ms. Pace taught my daughter in seventh grade. Samantha found her engaging, interesting, and challenging. The love of math that Ms. Pace instilled has propelled Samantha to higher-level math courses in high school. Ms. Pace taught in a way that showed her students she cared--no matter who they were, what they looked like, or how well they did academically. My only disappointment is that my younger daughter, Natalie, didn't get to have Ms. Pace for math since she moved down to sixth grade when Natalie moved up to seventh. Ms. Pace definitely deserves this honor!
I’ve worked with Charm for many years as part of the sister school to hers. She’s an incredible role model & teacher who leads by example. Her reputation speaks for itself. She has character, integrity, & tenacity. This honor is such a deserved one!
Ms. Pace has been an exceptional lead teacher on our middle school hall for a number of years. She is a dedicated educator who sets high standards for herself as well as others. In addition to achieving her profession at an exemplary level, Ms. Pace supports and assists other educators in fulfilling their goals.
I've known Charm for 15 + years. She is a Master at her craft (Math) and is sincerely devoted to educating our youth.
I truly believe that she awakens the enjoyment of math in her students.

I taught collaboratively with Ms. Pace for 5 years. She is super organized and her lessons are very well planned as well as diverse. She is awesome in reaching each student according to their unique ability. She is such a motivator, especially for students who feel that they are underachievers in math.

I can't speak enough praises for Ms. Pace. She is so deserving of the LCOY award. Ms. Pace was my son's 7th grade math teacher; and she is easily his overall favorite teacher some 2 years later. My son was always challenged, supported, and encouraged by Ms. Pace. I was always impressed by her use of different classroom tools and technology in her lessons. Whether it was through interesting projects or remediation, Ms. Pace imparted her love of math to all of her students through her teaching.
My kids love Ms. Pace. She is patient, caring and encouraged both my kids to excel academically. She makes a great role model. We are so blessed to have her in public school.

I worked with Charm for 11 years. She is a great teammate and teaching colleague. I was honored to serve with her as co-chair of our grade level for several years. She is hardworking. She always does what is best for her students. She creates a classroom culture of trust, and her students feel safe in her room. She works well with her fellow teachers too. She is always available to help others when needed. I love her and her teaching style so much that I requested that my daughter be put in her math class. Charm is definitely a life changer.
Charm was my host teacher during my undergraduate program and then 4 years later she became my colleague and teacher mentor. Charm has been one of the most influential people of my teaching career. She leads by example. She does her best for her school and her students and leads her team of teachers and the many student teachers she had mentored to do the same. Charm is innovative and is always learning and growing as an educator. She is fair and kind to her students and focuses on their growth in math and as young members of society.

Charm taught me so much when she was my host teacher while I was student teaching. So much of what I do in my classroom as a 5th grade teacher right now is because of what I learned from her. She not only taught me how to effectively teach math. She also showed me how important it is to create an environment where students felt known, accepted, and safe. Mrs.Pace is am EXCELLENT math teacher! I worked with her as a co-teacher during the 18-19 school year, and I learned more about math that year than I ever remembered from my own middle school math years. Mrs. Pace was my daughter's 7th grade math teacher. She was a highly skilled mathematics teachers, employing the use of interactive games during class, held student conferences to discuss their progress, motivating students with incentives, and broke down information for parents during Title I nights. When I ask my daughter what she remembers most about her time with Mrs. Pace, she said that she doesn't remembers much about how she taught, but what she remembers most is how Mrs. Pace had an interest her and helped shape her personality. She was a positive role model, but also a strict disciplinarian creating an environment conducive for learning. My daughter has also followed in her footsteps and is a seventh grade math teacher.

Charm Ellis Pace was both of my daughters teachers! She was outstanding and help me get through some tough times with my girls academics. Her passion for teaching is felt by her students, especially mine! To this day, my girls have major respect for her and the are in 10th and 12th! Ms. Pace taught my daughter for gifted Math. My daughter loves math and has accelerated tremendously through the fundamental teachings that Ms Pace has provided. Math made easy is what my daughter would say. I thank her for all her dedication and support she gives each and every one of her kids in the classroom and through their extracurricular activities. Ms Pace truly has the heart of gold.
Without Ms. Pace, I would not have made it through my first year teaching. Due to COVID, it ended in a really odd manner. I was freaking out and worrying about my students, my content, and the world. She was always a voice of calm and reason when I needed it in and out of the classroom.
Ms. Pace was my daughter’s Math teacher. My child hated Math till she was in her class. Ms. Pace went above and beyond to help her.
Ms. Pace helped her in the classroom and outside the classroom. As Abbie continued through high school, she know she could call Ms. Pace for help if she needed it. We love her and appreciate her in so many ways.

Additionally, she attends sporting events to support the students and even played in the band concert with them.
