She has taught yearbook and eighth grade ELA, sponsored the school newspaper, served as a librarian, and ended her 40 years in education as an elementary instructional technology specialist," said Kisiske. "She has made a positive impact in the lives of students and teachers alike. Carol has the natural ability to inspire a love of learning, and she always incorporates innovative practices. Carol has been a mentor and friend to each and every staff member she encountered. She helped guide best practices throughout her campus. She is personal, professional, helpful, and an example to those of us still teaching."
