Diane Simon was nominated by a colleague who wishes to remain anonymous.

Ms. Simon is always there for students and staff when they need her. She never hesitates to help and always maintains an excellent, cheerful attitude. Her affable demeanor makes going to the guidance office a pleasurable experience for students, and her cheerful disposition puts them at ease. She is professional, greets people with a smile, and has a sincere desire to help.

At the end of each school year, Simon coordinates the school's Senior Awards Night. Every year, she is determined to make Awards Night an outstanding evening for the students because she knows how hard they have worked, and that they deserve recognition. Without extra compensation or special recognition, she works extra hours to ensure the event is a success and a memorable night for students and staff. She coordinates presenters for the awards, invites all students and families to be recognized, prepares the ceremony program, and helps decorate the auditorium. She works tirelessly to ensures its success.

Diane Simon is so deserving of this special award. She is an extremely hard worker and takes pride in everything she does. She is always there to help staff and students. She always has a smile on her face and has a heart of gold. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smooth in guidance. I am proud to call Diane my friend and colleague.

Mrs. Simon is incredibly dedicated and consistently goes out of her way to insure that students have what they need many times working many hours beyond her day. She is always supportive, encouraging and committed to doing the best job possible for the sake of the students.

Diane Simon is the most caring and considerate person I have ever had the pleasure to work with! Her kindness makes the guidance department a welcoming place for students, staff, and visitors. As a professional she spends countless hours during and after school to ensure that all of the needs of the guidance department have been met. Diane goes above and beyond in all she does. The students have always appreciated Diane for working so efficiently with them while they are trying to meet college deadlines. As a colleague Diane is always willing to help in any way that she can. I am honored to call her my co-worker, as well as my friend! I recommend Diane Simon for this award without hesitation!

Diane is an integral part of the Guidance department. She assists all students(in addition to the above write up) with getting their numerous transcripts out to all of their college requests. She makes sure all of the information is correct. Many nights she stays late to make sure the student who asked at the last minute have their transcript sent that same day. Her dedication, professionalism and kindness to all students when they come into the Guidance/CST offices is awesome and she should be recognized.

We are so lucky to Diane Simon as a member of our school counseling department. Diane is always on her A game and she not only helps to ensure that we are taking all needed steps from completing the application process for students to assisting with AP exam registration to organizing Senior Awards Night to finalizing transcripts plus all of the daily tasks to help the department. The biggest thing that I have gotten from Diane in the past six years I have worked along side her is that she cares so much for the students and making sure we are doing everything possible to help them. She is very deserving of this award and I am so happy someone nominated her.
