Jim McCombs was nominated by his colleague, Nicole Rodriguez.
Mr. McCombs has been an asset to Martin County School District by serving as the pool manager for Martin County High School. He has maintained the pool every day for 25 years, even during hurricanes! Mr. McCombs has coached the girls' swim team to the County Championship for seven years in a row. He also coached the boys' swim team for six of the seven years. Both teams even made it to the Top 3 Finish in The State Swim Meet three times.
"Jim's dedication and commitment to the community goes above and beyond," said Rodriguez. "He has personally been on site making sure everything runs smoothly, even during non-school days. He is an asset to our district and community."
