Linda Norris was nominated by her friend, Amy Plumlee.

"I met Linda when I began my teaching career.  We taught together for four years," said Plumlee. "She was an excellent first grade teacher. Then, I moved to another school, but I kept up with Linda as she became a principal.  We had not spoken in many years, but I knew she was doing great things."

"I retired from teaching and met up with Linda once again when I went to her school," said Plumlee. "I was in awe of how much her staff and students loved her.  She has made such a caring, loving family environment at her school. The staff told me how much she cared for her students and them. I watched as she took care of students, staff, and parents. The school was amazing, and from what I can see, it's due to the care and love that Linda gives every day. I see the same Linda who I used to teach with, but on a much grander scale. She is still working hard to make staff and students the best they can be!"
