Shoshana Fuller was nominated by an anonymous friend.

Ms. Fuller has worked with PEC for years, and it is truly her calling. She shows up everyday, gives 100%, and teaches with kindness and grace. She is always willing to go the extra mile to help students succeed. Her heart shines bright in every moment spent with students. After giving 100 % at school, she goes home to help three foster children. She has been a foster parent for three years. She is truly a inspiration. Ms. Fuller spent time in foster care as a child and knows first hand how important it is to have a trauma informed teacher and guardian. She loves and supports many students in their toughest time. She has had an excellent reunification rate because she supports the parents and kids as a unit! Ms. Fuller shows kindness and understanding. She advocates for all children.

"I feel extremely blessed to work with such a kind heart," said her nominator. "She is a great team player and I wouldn't want to teach without her. I wish every student had a champion like her advocating for them."

Not only have I had the pleasure to work with Meddie, but my son is also lucky enough to have her assisting in one of his classes. She is dedicated and loving to her students. She expects the best that they can be from them and encourages them to try harder. I was worried about my son's transition to 6 the grade this year, but felt perfectly at ease when I learned that she would be there with him.

I have known Shoshonna "Meddie" for many years and she continues to amaze me. She loves with her whole heart and gives bigger than the sky. She is such a blessing to many. You are truly a life changer and worthy of this nomination!! I am so proud of you Meddie!!

Mrs. Fuller has been a true life charger for my son, with his struggle in the transition to middle school.
