Debbie Haggard was nominated by Jo Lynn Schultz, a member of the community.

"Debbie is one of the kindest ladies you will ever meet," said Schultz. "I've been working closely with her for the past 12 years. When I first began, Debbie was quick to help with what the staff and I needed. If something needed correcting, she was never condescending or rude. She simply stated what it would take to 'fix things.' In the beginning of my job, that was often!"

"Over time, Debbie has continued to be the same person," said Schultz. "She has shown nothing but kindness and a willingness to help. The staff at the central office all agree she is a special person."

"Debbie is a wife, mother and grandmother. She has shared many stories with me about her family as I have with her," said Schultz. "We have laughed and cried together over our life stories. There has never been a time when she failed to ask about my family and situations."

"Accomplishments are not always in the form of certificates and trophies, and Debbie certainly needs none of those for anyone around her to realize she is dependable and always willing to get the job done in payroll and in any other way necessary," said Schultz. "I have seen her step up to the plate and run the payroll office when the head of the office was unable to work. Her co-worker had serious eye issues, and Debbie was spending time with her asking about what she could do to help and carried on in the office as usual. With a smile, she always asked, 'How are you today? What can I do for you?'"

"Debbie is an amazing, hardworking woman who deserves to be recognized," said Schultz.

Debbie is always there to answer any question I might have and if she doesn't know the answer, she will find it and get back with me immediately. Debbie has always been professional when assisting me with work matters, but also always has a minute to talk about our families and what is taking place in our current lives.
