Maria Sobecki was nominated by an anonymous student.

"Mrs. Sobecki is the nicest teacher I have met in my career in school," said her nominator. "She started at New Prairie about a year ago. Everyone who has had her so far has said she is the nicest teacher ever. Mrs. Sobecki went to college at Saint Mary’s to get a degree in biology. She has two dogs and five nieces and nephews. You can see Mrs. Sobecki with a coffee in her hand every morning sipping and grading! Mrs. Sobecki is very compassionate and will do anything for a student. Mrs. Sobecki also participated in raking on Make a Difference day. She’s now a pro at raking! These are some of the many reasons why I think she's a LifeChanger."

I’m not surprised to see Ms Sobecki nominated for this award! She worked for me for several years and I could always count on her for anything that needed to be done! Good luck, Maria!

You are doing a fantastic job! I am so happy that you can do this. You are putting the passion in teaching and that is what the kids respond to. You are also doing the things you live outside of the classroom. Which will pay back dividends in the classroom and out.Great job.???
