LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Jeffrey Meinhard was nominated by an anonymous student.

"Mr. Meinhard is my LifeChanger because he is a great person, and he has helped many people become their best. Mr. Meinhard helped me become the person I am today," said his nominator. "He makes everyone around him laugh. If I had not had Mr. Meinhard as a teacher in sixth grade, I probably wouldn’t have been the runner I am today. Because of him, I am a very healthy person. He was the only coach who could push me to the limits, which made me the runner I am. My friends from cross country would not have pushed themselves as hard if they had a bad coach. Without Mr. Meinhard, our team wouldn't have even had a chance at the biggest race of the year."

"When I was in sixth grade, Mr. Meinhard taught Social Studies," said his nominator. "He made my friends and I laugh every day we saw him. Because of him, our days in sixth grade were never terrible. If Mr. Meinhard didn’t make us laugh, sixth grade would have been the slowest school year ever. Without this coach and teacher, our team would not have made it to the Culver Cross Country meet. He led us to where we are today. When one of my fellow runners was going though a tough time, Mr. Meinhard was there to talk to them. He stayed after practice to talk to this person. Mr. Meinhard was the only coach my parents liked because they heard about what a great person he was every day after a practice or a meet. My brother and I could not stop talking about what a great, funny coach and teacher he was and is continuing to be."
