Jeannie Lancaster was nominated by her principal, Lauren Robinson.

Mrs. Lancaster makes an impact on the lives of all students who are blessed to start their educational careers with her. Students and parents are left in tears during the first few days of school because it can be scary entering a new place and leaving your loved ones behind. Those tears dry up quickly after entering Mrs. Lancaster's classroom.

"One of my favorite parts of the day is watching parents struggle to get their kids to leave her classroom at dismissal. There have even been tears because they have to go home," Robinson said.

Mrs. Lancaster is one of the most positive staff members; she always remains upbeat, even in the face of confusion. She gives 100% and is always there for the students, making sure that they have a positive transition to school. Her classroom looks very different from any other Pre-K class, and she is focused on developing young academics in a nurturing environment.

"Truly, when I am having a rough day as a Principal, going into Mrs. Lancaster's class makes me feel instantly better because there is a passion for learning being fostered in her kids, and a genuine feeling of love both to and from the kids to her. Without a doubt, Mrs. Lancaster is a LifeChanger for her students, the aides she has mentored over the years, and even me," Robinson said. "She has changed my life and opened up a whole new world of what early childhood education can and should look like!"
