Pam Hauge was nominated by her principal, Nate Walbruch.

Mrs. Hauge changes lives through her exemplary performance at her school, her commitment to supporting all students, and her leadership. She performs her job duties in an exemplary manner. Simply put, she is the the type of employee administrators dream of having in their school. Mrs. Hauge is willing to do whatever it takes to support her school's vision.

What sets her apart from others is her can-do attitude. If there is an issue/problem, she assumes the responsibility of resolving the issue or leading a team to complete the task. She is frequently the first to volunteer to organize and improve a variety of school programs (student council, Prom, Yearbook, etc.). 

Mrs. Hauge's professional role in her school is to support students with disabilities. More specifically, she is charged with helping the most needy students in her school. Consistently, these students are not at grade-level and use disruptive and sometimes violent behaviors to cope. She is one of the few people who is able to effectively guide these students towards their behavior and academic goals. If there is a difficult student who needs additional support, Mrs. Hauge is the expert in helping those students and their regular education teachers. She sees all students as important and takes pride in helping them at their level. She does not make excuses, nor does she refuse to help any student. In short, she loves all of the kids! 

Mrs. Hauge's leadership within her school contributes to her being a LifeChanger. She leads a number of student activities. In all cases, she helps students develop leadership and decision-making skills as they make plans for Homecoming, dances, Prom, etc. Although this process can be trying, Mrs. Hauge's commitment to develop student-leaders goes a long way towards her making a difference in their lives and the overall school culture. Her can-do attitude is contagious! Teachers are eager to have her support in their classes; she provides both academic and moral support for any student who needs help.
