LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Janee Carter was nominated by an anonymous colleague.

Mrs. Carter makes a difference in the lives of students.  She creates a fun, exciting school environment and inspires her students and the community. She strongly encourages all students and staff. Mrs. Carter brings her staff together and allows for the development of all individuals. She continues to strive for excellence, not only with her students and their performance, but as an educator and principal. She is currently in the process of being certified to serve as a superintendent.

Mrs. Carter has the ability to nurture a positive atmosphere among all students, and she brings organizations, athletic programs, and community members together through an initiative called Meet the Buffalos and Teachers. This allows members of the community, students, and teachers to leave words of encouragement and blessings over the schools, and classrooms. She places high standards and expectations on students and recognizes great performance with incentives.
