Music that Describes Shelia
Shelia Kizzia was nominated by her colleague, Deana Perry.
Mrs. Kizzia is a role model to all of her students and colleagues. She is the prime example of professionalism and wisdom, and she never loses control with students. She always remains calm and reminds students about how they should act in order for them to be respected.
Mrs. Kizzia is a leader. She even spoke at the district's Veterans day assembly, uplifting veterans and reminding the students about how important they are in the community.
"Mrs. Kizzia helps with every aspect of our little school and is always there to decorate, give her time, and lead without asking for anything in return," said Perry. "I have seen her take many children under her wing and help them become intelligent, respected, thriving young adults in our school, town, and community. She has touched so many lives in so many ways and is very loved in our community. When I grow up - and I am 51 years old - I aspire to be the same kind of professional role model this wonderful lady has been for our school."
I have had the opportunity to know Sheila for the last 30+ years and work with her for 15 of them. She is a great friend, mother and teacher to many people. She has always gone above and beyond to help out with anything that is needed. She is a beautiful person inside and out and a treasure to many!!!
My mom, Sheila Kizzia, is more than deserving of this acknowledgement. If you ask her she will disagree because she doesn’t do anything for acknowledgement or for an award, she does it because she loves it and genuinely cares about everyone. She has thought myself and my son during our schools days. We can both say that she teaches kids that respect is earned not something handed out freely, always strive for your dreams and goals in life and that a harsh word is never the answer to a bad situation. She dedicated every spare minute she has to go out of her way to help others. Whether it be decorating for special occasions, keeping the books or click at ball games even the concession, down to helping a child that is struggling and even a ear or shoulder for those that need it. Without this great woman in my life I know I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I want to personally thank her and let her know how much I love her especially for just being the person that she is.

Mrs. Kizzia truly is one of a kind. She has a heart of gold and sets the bar high when it comes to teaching and loving kids. She 100% goes above and beyond in every aspect. Mrs. Kizzia builds strong relationships with all her students and shows them that they have someone on their side to support them and guide them. She pushes them to be the best they can and helps them in every way to achieve their dreams. Mrs. Kizzia is a life changer!

Mrs Kizzia is what all teachers should aspire to be!! She has taught my Niece and two nephews, also my Brother...I never got the privilege of being her student...she is a special lady and a truly valuable part of our school and our community! We love her!
Mrs. Kizzia was my 7th grade English Teacher. I was also privileged to have her has my high school English Teacher. She is hands down the most uplifting, caring, and loving human being. She gave me wisdom in the class room, and also wisdom of life. This woman holds a very special place in my heart.

Mrs.Kizzia taught my husband and myself in high school, my graduated son, and now my daughter. She is that teacher who is there on the weekends and hours after the bell has rang. So much of her own time is poured into her students, school, and community. If a job needs done, and done well, she is the go to. She is highly respected by her students and coworkers. I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this award.
Always goes above & beyond to help any student or teacher with anything they need. She’s one of the best teachers my son has had. Loved by everyone.
Mrs Kizzia is one of the best women I know!! She was my teacher throughout school and teaches my kids now. I don’t know what Braggs would do without her. She very well deserves this and way more recognition.
