Wow!!! What a passionate, inspirational and caring leader! Michelle Fine is the type of leader who is not willing to listen to those who work with her. She is always willing to listen and try new things. If it is was is best for kids then why not?! She motivates her staff to be the best they can possibly be either through an encouraging word or even with her smile and positivity. She is changing lives daily at John Glenn Elementary whether it's the students, staff or parents! She is a great role model and a life changer!

Her enthusiasm and positivity are contagious. She leads by example, showing us the how and why to strive to be better. Without a doubt, Michelle has changed more lives than she knows.

I had the great pleasure of teaching 1st grade with Michelle Fine many years ago. From the very start on her journey as an educator she not only changed the lives of her students but also her colleagues. Her passion for learning and motivating staff and students is unlike no other. She is the very example of a life changer and is so very deserving of this award. Her current students and staff at Glenn Elementary are extremely lucky to call her their principal.

What a pleasure it is to work with someone of great service and attitude. I believe a Life Changer is an extraordinary leader. Mrs. Fine is a leader who inspires others to go above and beyond, who shows compassion to every person, who goes the extra mile, who makes creative decisions on the spot, who is transparent to all, who brings school spirit everyday, who has a positive attitude, who loves our students, parents and staff, and all while wearing heels and looking stylish. Mrs. Fine shows humility by putting others first for example, although she was at a meeting all day she made it a point to go outside, after her meeting, into the chilly weather to cheer on the Glenn Girls on the Run students to show her support. She has made it a point to service parents at the front office to make sure they are welcomed when staff is helping others. She tries to attend all school events in and after school to be there for her Glenn Family. She is also a giver by blessing all teachers and staff with a little treat to show her appreciation for all the hard work we do. She has the best customer service, the highest energy and the most unique ideas I've seen in a principal and in a person. Mrs. Fine also shows fantastic organization skills and a phenomenal memory. She has a daily plan for every hour of the day and makes sure she notes it on the calendar for herself and for staff. She has a motto I've heard her say, "If it's not written, it will not happen" as she's inputting an event on the calendar. She makes notes for herself on stickies and makes sure she gets them done by the end of the day. Her memory is impeccable, she surprised me by how she remembered what we discussed days later and how she remembers our team schedule even though she has a whole school to take care of. I felt valued and important to know she cares about what I have to say and what I do daily. Mrs. Fines reminds us every week that all the hard work we put in is for our students. She cares about ALL students and wants to make sure the plans and systems she develops and puts into practices are to help each child at Glenn Elementary. She knows we might have to tweak and modify things to make it work for our students but she is willing to put in the effort with all of us as a team. There are not enough words to describe how magnificent Mrs. Fine is. She is the definition of a EXTRAORDINARY LIFE CHANGER. A LIFE CHANGER who walks with you, guides you, and cheers you on. Other sayings I've heard her say are, "Set goals and Crush them" and "Do what you love, love what you do." I believe these two quotes help define who Mrs. Fines is as a Life Changer. On top of all of this she takes care of her husband and twin children of 4 years old. WoW! What an incredible person?! John Glenn ES is blessed to have a leader like her! Thank you for showing all of us how important we are to you not just by telling us but by modeling it every day. You change lives every day.
