Serita has great compassion for her students. She will go above and beyond to meet their needs both academic and personally. She understands a child’s success is not just the hours they spend in school with her. She has made sure her students have what they need after school hours as well.For example, finding a bed for free to give a student who was falling asleep during school because he had to sleep on the floor at home. She is told often by her students “Thank you” for helping them learn and succeed. Serita Miller is that teacher that students will remember, by name, 30 yrs. from now because she changed their life.
