Lisa Ahronian was nominated by an acquaintance who wishes to remain anonymous.

Ms. Ahronian has worked as an admin for several companies over the course of her 25+ year career, but her work with Holliston Schools has been her favorite job, by far. More often than not, you'll find her working overtime to make sure that everything she needs to do gets done before she goes home. There have been a few times where she even went in on a weekend so that she could finish her work before Monday morning.

As the executive assistant for the superintendent, Ms. Ahronian schedules meetings for students and parents who wish to meet with the superintendent or assistant superintendent. She also sets up and records meetings for central office administrators, the School Committee, and the Finance Committee.

Every day, Ms. Ahronian speaks to parents and others involved with the school system, delivering a friendly, professional demeanor as she answers questions, helps them with CORI forms to participate in field trips, and with student enrollment. She works and communicates with them whenever she's needed. Ms. Ahronian makes sure that everything runs smoothly, and works with school administration to address complications as they arise. Additionally, she also makes sure reports involving injuries, teacher happenings professional development, and salary increases are sent to the right people.

"In the Central Administration of a school, an admin assistant is needed to make sure that things run well for students, parents and faculty - without confusion and without room for error. Holliston Public Schools would not be able to run the same without her," her nominator said. "It is because of this that I believe Ms. Ahronian is a LifeChanger."

Lisa does a tremendous job managing her work and does so with a calm and friendly demeanor. Lisa is always efficient and strives for excellence all that she does. She is a key member of a small but critical staff in the Holliston Public Schools Central Office. As the Executive Assistant for the Superintendent, she provides administrative support to the School Committee which is valued by all the School Committee members. Lisa truly goes above and beyond in all that she does.

Lisa juggles many different responsibilities with terrific efficiency! Hers is a demanding job because the school district's administrative team is small and that means there's always a ton of work. We so appreciate everything she does!

I have had the pleasure of knowing this wonderfully genuine, hard-working and all around beautifully souled woman - professionally and personally - for almost 30 years now. I don't know what more I could say about her that hasn't already been said on her profile nomination! She truly is, simply, one of the most amazing humans I know! She is the embodiment of that I would hope [we all hope] to be! She is kind, generous, compassionate, friendly, selfless, caring, devoted, intelligent, strong - and so much more! She is a nurturing mom, a dutiful daughter, a loving sister and a stead-fast friend - even in her own often times busy life!! Whatever this honor brings - she deserves and has earned! This - and so much more!! You will not meet a more deserving woman! I love this woman like family - if you know her - you will too!!

I am not associated in any way to the Holliston School system but am not at all surprised to see Ms. Ahronian nominated for Lifechanger of the year recognition. I have known Ms. Jordan for approximately 40 years and am well aware of the passion and drive she brings to her work. I know her to be someone who strives to be her absolute best in all facets of her life. She is, as her nomination profile clearly notes, passionate about her work at the Holliston School system. I clearly remember her excitement when she attained her position there. She saw it as a new challenge to take on. Lisa knew there would be much to learn and she has certainly risen to that challenge. Outside of her work, I know Lisa to be a devoted parent, daughter, and friend to many. She is, for lack of a better term, "all in" when it comes to her relationship with others. She is giving, caring, compassionate, and one of the most genuine people I know. She is a person who brings positivity to those around her, leaving a lasting and life changing mark on the lives she touches. Ms. Lisa Ahronian is undeniably a worthy nominee for the Lifechanger Award.

Lisa is my dearest friend, we have been friends for over 32 years and I can't think of a better person to get this award. You have heard the saying "That when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade"; She makes a pie to go with it and serves it with a smile. She adapts, survives and does it with style. I love you Lisa, keep doing what you do and being who you are.
