Mr. Sells is an amazing role model to students! He is truly passionate about helping students each day, not only in math, but in life. He has been in teaching for more than 20 years, but he still has the best time and makes school fun! Mr. Sells has a military background and educates students on veterans in a positive, supportive way. He is a very respectful, big-hearted man.
Mr. Sells makes sure each student has every chance to succeed. Each day, he shares a life lesson with his students before or during his academic lesson. He is the ideal example of the best teacher, LifeChanger and role model for any child and adult!

I have known Stephen my entire career. He is a gem and a true asset to our school system and our community.
Mr. Sells is has the heart of a servant. Everything thing he does is purposed for the good of others and the glory of God. He is a humble man who goes with the flow, but isn't afraid to ask questions for clarification or speak up when there is an injustice or other situation. He works quietly within our community to help others in need--raking yards for widows, cleaning homes of the ill or infirmed. He shuns public praise, but enjoys helping others. With his students, he energetically brings his A-game every day, (jumps on tables, jams on air guitar, makes jokes and silly faces). He is an Army Veteran, husband, father, and all around great guy.

Stephen is so worthy of this nomination. I worked with him in the same school district for several years, and only heard great things from students who had him as a teacher.

Mr. Sells brings enthusiasm to the classroom so that his students stay engaged in the math lesson. His exuberance and content knowledge make him an excellent math teacher who students never forget! Stephen is not just a great math teacher but he is also a great role model for his students. Chester county is blessed to have him teaching our children.
Mr. Sells is definitely a life changer! He is always spreading positivity around his students and fellow teachers. I have never walked into his classroom when he wasn’t smiling and ready to get the day started. He has helped me a lot this year with math. He makes sure every student understands what he is teaching.
Mr. Sells is an extremely hard worker in math. He always helps students with questions they may have on their work and explains his work in order to get the correct answer. He always does his best to provide extra help to those who need it and always checks up on students while they are doing their work.
Mr. Sells is an amazing teacher. He has really made my grade in math go up. On Tcap and Case i would not know what to do or just guess and now I actually get it, i try and know what to do. I have a good grade and try to. He makes us learn and gets it in our brains so we know what to do. Also he reviews stuff throughout the year so we don’t forget it by the end of the year. He has really helped me with my math.
He always teaches in fun ways and isn’t boring, and he likes to help people out when he can.
I nominate Mr. Sells because he is a very good teacher who encourages us every day to do better than yesterday. People at our school always say, “Let's learn one thing today,” but Mr. Sells always says, “No, let’s learn more than we learned yesterday.”

Mr. Sells has made a big impact in my math education. He helps me understand it better and makes sure that everybody gets it before he moves onto the next lesson. He also gives little breaks in class to socialize with friends. Most teachers don't do that.

Mr. Sells is a very good teacher. He established respect at the beginning of the year and has taught our class to be quiet and listen until the person speaking is finished. Mr. Sells has made a difference in this school. Every day he makes it his mission to make kids great at Math. While doing so, he teaches in a hilarious manner and makes us all laugh. Because of this, I am doing very well as long as other kids that he teaches every day. Mr. Sells is by far the best math teacher I have ever had.

Mr. Sells taught my daughter (who is now a teacher). He taught her learning can be fun and that sometimes you have to work hard to get where you want to be. They have the same sense of humor and I have seen her use it to diffuse tempers and change the whole tone of the class. Now I work with Mr. Sells and I see that people are what matters to him. He pushes students to exceed their own expectations and helps them believe in themselves. He is a life-changer without a doubt!
