Diane Chaney was nominated by a colleague who wishes to remain anonymous.

Ms. Chaney has received multiple awards for her dedication as a school nurse. She is well-deserving of these awards, and it shows through her school pride.

"After many years with Nurse Chaney by our side, I'd be willing to bet that the most important award she could receive is the respect of our school family," the nominator said.

Ms. Chaney goes above and beyond to care for all students and adults alike. She works tirelessly to make connections with families for assistance with medical care, eyeglasses, and even supply students in need with food to take home each weekend. As the district's lead nurse, Ms. Chaney's responsibilities are endless. She constantly has a full plate, but somehow, she always finds a way to get everything done. She makes every person her top priority, even if it means putting herself second.  

"Without a school nurse, we would be lost. Without our Nurse Chaney, we wouldn't be loved like we are," the nominator said.
