Mrs. Canario is a LifeChanger by all definitions. She is a quiet, calming support for students and colleagues alike. Her door is always open for anyone who needs a talk, a hug, or someone to listen. The entire learning community adores Mrs. Canario and appreciates her selflessness. She always goes out of her way to reach out to people who she senses might be having a difficult time.  Sometimes, she asks if everything is alright. Other times, she offers a hug with no explanation needed. Her friends, colleagues and students know whatever is said to Mrs. Canario is confidential. People trust her completely with their feelings and know they are in the best hands. She is incredibly knowledgeable in her field, and she is always offering strategies for people to try to help them get through the most difficult situations.  She is the person the support staff go to with questions, and she answers each and every one with patience and an eagerness to help. Mrs. Canario lightens the mood with laughter and empathizes with others when they are down.
