Christine Polizzi was nominated by Joan Raines, the parent of a student.

Officer Polizzi is awesome! All of the students love her. Every day, she goes out of her way to say hello to every student, giving them hi-fives and hugs. During lunch, if she sees a student sitting alone, she makes sure to sit with them and chat. Every student she's in contact with walks away with a huge smile on their face.

I am beyond grateful to have Christine at THE Pinewood Elementary! She is loved by all students and staff. It’s inspiring to see all the smiles she puts on the kids faces everyday.

Officer Polizzi is truly an angel in uniform. Patience, kindness and a heart for the kids. I know Christine as not only an officer but as a friend. And to say those around her are lucky to have her in their lives is an understatement! We truly are blessed to have her in all our lives.
