Mrs. Dok has been an amazing counselor in her school. She cares so much about her students and their success. Her students even call her their second mom. She actively listens and understand her students. Most of the students don't have someone in their lives to listen to them, so she takes time to listen every single one of her students. On top of that, she invites students over to her house to complete college and FAFSA applications, host them for dinner, and organize fun parties.
"We need to have a counselor just like her in every school," said her nominator. "We' re so lucky to have her."
